WhatsApp's new privacy policy is against India's IT (IT) laws and regulations, the federal government has told the Delhi High Court.
During a lawsuit filed against WhatsApp's new privacy policies, the attorney general said he had not yet received a response to a letter sent by the federal government to the company's leadership regarding problems with WhatsApp's personal policy.
WhatsApp's court was told that no one's account has been deleted until now, despite the announcement that the new personal policies will take effect on the 15th.
It was also reported that no separate timeline has been set for deleting the WhatsApp accounts of those who do not accept the new policies.
